Amaya I. Lobato, affectionately known as Mymy, this world on February 20, 2026, at the tender age of 23. Born on October 25, 2002, in Ogden, she was bright light in the lives of all who knew her. A graduate of Weber State in 2025, Amaya earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice, a reflection of her compassionate heart and desire to advocate for others.

In her professional journey, Amaya worked at Tukios, where she became a significant voice in the deathcare industry, specifically championing the cause of green deathcare. Her passion for this vital work was matched only by her infectious laughter that echoed through the hallways and lifted the spirits of everyone around her.

Mymy had an innate gift for making even the dullest day shine brighter. She had a unique talent for engaging with others, often showing love and care through her thoughtful "vibe checks," making sure everyone was doing well. Her warm personality was complemented by her signature look — meticulously applied makeup, complete with striking big eyelashes, expertly crafted winged eyeliner, and flushed cheeks, which became an indelible part of her identity.

Amaya is survived by her beloved family, including her sister, Maleena Lobato; her mother, Dolores Lobato; her father, Anthony Lobato; and her devoted husband, Jason Langridge. Each of them carries with them cherished memories of her laughter, her kindness, and her unwavering support. The warmth and light she brought into their lives will forever be a fond memory and part of her enduring legacy.

Though her time with us was far too brief, Amaya's spirit and her advocacy work will continue to inspire many. As we mourn the loss of such a vibrant soul, let us also celebrate the joy she brought into our lives and honor her memory by celebrating love, laughter, and kindness in every moment. She touched the lives of so many, and her laughter will forever ring in our hearts.
