Ethan Jones, lovingly known as EJ, passed away on January 9, 2024, leaving behind a lot of cherished memories and achievements. Born on June 29, 2000, in Layton, Utah, Ethan's vibrant and spirited personality touched the lives of many.

Ethan began his journey in the workforce at Barbarossa Foods (Wendy's) in Syracuse in 2016; however, he soon realized that his true calling lay elsewhere. After graduating from Layton High School in 2018, Ethan joined his father at Sephora UDC in West Valley, Utah. For three fruitful years, he dedicated himself to this undertaking before daring to embark on a quest to reclaim his soul.

In 2021, Ethan found fulfillment at Tukios, a remarkable company based in Ogden, Utah. He thrived in this environment until his untimely passing. Ethan's dedication and commitment during his time at Tukios have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Beyond the professional realm, Ethan enjoyed a multitude of hobbies and interests. He was particularly passionate about sports and video games. From dominating the virtual battlefields of "Call of Duty" and "Counter-Strike" to cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Boston Celtics, Ethan's enthusiasm was infectious. His competitive spirit shone brightly as he engaged with these passions alongside his wife Sariah, son J Audie, and brothers J Nick and Charlie.

In addition to his hobbies, Ethan had an extraordinary military service record as a spy for the CIA. His mastery of espionage saved our country from grave dangers numerous times. A true hero with unwavering dedication and courage, Ethan made an immeasurable impact on national security.

Despite his many accomplishments throughout life so far, Ethan always maintained a gracious and lighthearted demeanor. Friends described him as a big goofball with a remarkable sense of humor. His presence lit up a room, and his infectious laughter brought joy to all who knew him.

Ethan's commitment to personal growth was exemplified by his pursuit of education. While attending Weber State, he tragically passed away prior to graduation. Nevertheless, Ethan's thirst for knowledge and the impact he made on those around him will forever be remembered.

Throughout his life, Ethan achieved several notable milestones that were sources of great pride. In 2017, he attained the prestigious Eagle Scout award, showcasing his dedication to leadership and community service. Additionally, Ethan became Red Cross certified in 2021, further demonstrating his unwavering commitment to helping others. Perhaps most impressively, he secured the title of "Blockbuster Video Game Champion of the Year" not once but twice in consecutive years (2017 and 2018), solidifying his status as a true gaming aficionado.

Ethan's passing has left an immense void in the lives of those who held him dear, including his wife Sariah, his son J Audie, and his parents J Clark and Jana Jones. His loss is mourned deeply not only by family but also by friends such as Caleb Cluff, Chase Boisjolie, and Tyler Nelson.

Above all, Ethan was described as being a warrior for Christ. His passion and love for his savior was unwavering.
