Mariah Veeren

Ahoy, me hearties! Gather ‘round we raise a tankard to the life of a fine soul, Mariah Veeren, who sailed her course on this earthly vessel from the 9th day of June in the year of 1992 until she set her compass for the great beyond on the same date in the year of 2086. Fierce and fearless in the seas of business, Mariah carved her legend as a marketing manager for the fabled XYZ Corporation. For fifteen years, she helmed the ship of product launches, steering many a crew to successful horizons, and was honored with the coveted Marketing Achievement Award in the grand old year of 2015.

A scholar of great renown, Mariah earned her stripes with a Master's degree in Business Administration from the revered halls of XYZ University, where she also claimed the Outstanding Academic Achievement award in the rebellious year of 2010. Aye, her brain be as shiny as the finest treasure!

Yet it wasn't her mind alone that shone brightly; Mariah’s kind and welcoming heart made her a true siren amongst sailors, always summoning others to her side with laughter that rang like the sweetest bell. Her great sense of humor could lift even the heaviest of spirits, making all who crossed her path feel as if they be the treasures of the sea.

In the tides of life, Mariah was not one to forget the plight of those adrift. Her proudest accomplishments lay in her selfless efforts, as she ventured forth to volunteer at a local homeless shelter, helping to provide meals and support to those in need. Her contributions were so profound that she earned the title of Volunteer of the Year, forever etching her name among those who beacons of hope for the weary.

Alas, the winds of time have taken Mariah from us, but fear not! Her spirit lives on in the hearts of her cherished family and dear mates. Let us remember Sarah Johnson, her sister, and Tom Johnson, her brother-in-law, who shall carry forth her legacy. And let’s not forget Rachel Lee, her close companion, who shared many a grand adventure with our beloved Mariah.

Yet, not all sails unfurl for fair winds. Mariah now joins her ancestors on the other side of the horizon: her dearest mother, Susan Smith; her stalwart father, John Smith Sr.; and her brave brother, James Smith. Together, they sail into the eternal sunset, free from the tempests of this mortal coil.
