Marissa Riche, a beloved member of her family and community, was born on June 27, 2025, and sadly passed away on June 10, 2025, just weeks before her birthday. Her life, although brief, was marked by significant accomplishments and deep connections with those who loved her.
Marissa earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from XYZ University, where she was recognized with the Outstanding Academic Achievement award in 2010. This academic success would later inspire and empower her aspirations in both her professional endeavors and personal life.
In her military service, Marissa proudly served in the United States Army for 20 years. Through dedication and courage, she achieved the rank of Colonel, honoring her commitment to her country. Her bravery during the Gulf War was recognized with prestigious awards, including the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart, reflecting her valor and sacrifice.
Marissa cherished her family, particularly during the holidays, where she found joy in making her famous apple pie every Thanksgiving. These gatherings often became the highlight of the year, uniting her loved ones in celebration and warmth. She had a close bond with her sister Sarah Johnson, her brother-in-law Tom Johnson, and her dear friend Rachel Lee, who will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.
Outside of her accomplishments and family ties, Marissa enjoyed a passion for collecting rare books. She spent countless hours scouring bookstores and auctions, always eager to discover new additions to her treasured collection.
