Sara Budge, a truly extraordinary soul, departed from this world on May 9, 2032, leaving behind a tapestry of cherished memories woven throughout her beloved hometown of Ogden. Born on August 22, 2002, Sara embraced life with remarkable passion, achieving great heights in her career and community with an unwavering commitment to family and service.
Her academic journey culminated in a Master’s degree in Business Administration from XYZ University, where she was honored with the Outstanding Academic Achievement award in 2010. This strong educational foundation propelled her into a successful 15-year career as a Marketing Manager at XYZ Corporation. There, she played a pivotal role in several memorable product launches, earning recognition through the Marketing Achievement Award in 2015 for her innovative and strategic contributions.
Sara’s dedication extended far beyond the corporate realm; she proudly served 20 years in the United States Army, rising to the esteemed rank of Colonel. Her bravery during the Gulf War earned her the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, honors that reflected not only her courage but also the strength of character she exemplified in all aspects of her life.
Among her many qualities, Sara will be remembered for her warm and welcoming spirit. Her unique ability to brighten the lives of those around her, often complemented by her delightful sense of humor, made her a beloved figure among family and friends alike. The holiday season held a special place in her heart, particularly for the joyous gatherings centered around her famed apple pie—a cherished tradition at Thanksgiving.
Sara’s passion for giving back was evident in her extensive volunteer work at a local homeless shelter, where her selflessness shined brightly. Her dedication to serving others earned her the Volunteer of the Year award, a testament to her belief in making a difference in the lives of those in need.
Sara leaves behind her father, John Smith Sr., and the precious memories of her late mother, Susan Smith, and her brother, James Smith. They will carry her spirit forever in their hearts.
A visitation to honor Sara Budge will take place at Lisa's house in Roy, Utah, on May 15, 2032, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on May 16, 2022, starting at 9:00 AM, also held at Lisa's house.
In celebrating the beautiful life Sara lived, family, friends, and colleagues will remember her not only for her numerous accomplishments but also for the profound impact she made on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of kindness, dedication, and joy will continue to inspire and resonate deeply within the hearts of all who were touched by her incredible life.
