Wilson Atagi, a beloved individual and respected member of the community, passed away on October 31, 2022. Wilson left an indelible mark on the world through his notable career achievements, dedication to education, remarkable military service, and his warm and compassionate personality.
Born on March 14, 1995 in Ogden Utah, Wilson Atagi exhibited exceptional qualities from an early age. He possessed a true passion for learning and pursued higher education with unwavering determination. Wilson earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from XYZ University, where he showcased his intellectual prowess by receiving the Outstanding Academic Achievement award in 2010.
Wilson's career spanned over fifteen years as a marketing manager for XYZ Corporation. During his time there, he oversaw numerous successful product launches that significantly contributed to the company's growth and success. Wilson's talent and dedication did not go unnoticed as he received the prestigious Marketing Achievement Award in 2015. His innovative ideas and strategic thinking were instrumental in positioning the corporation as an industry leader.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Wilson served his country with honor and distinction. He faithfully devoted twenty years of his life to the United States Army, rising to the esteemed rank of Colonel. Wilson's courage was undeniable - he displayed tremendous bravery during combat in the Gulf War and was awarded both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his acts of valor. His selflessness and commitment to protecting others will not be forgotten.

Wilson Atagi was preceded in death by his loving mother Susan Smith, father John Smith Sr., and brother James Smith. He is survived by his sister Sarah Johnson, brother-in-law Tom Johnson, and close friend Rachel Lee.
