A dedicated scholar, Marissa earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from XYZ University. Her academic excellence was recognized when she received the Outstanding Academic Achievement award in 2010. Marissa's commitment to learning and growth inspired those around her.

In addition to her academic achievements, Marissa served her country with honor and valor. She spent 20 years in the United States Army, rising to the rank of Colonel. During the Gulf War, Marissa displayed exceptional bravery and received both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for her courageous actions in combat. Her dedication to serving her nation will never be forgotten.

Marissa is survived by her sister Sarah Johnson, brother-in-law Tom Johnson, and close friend Rachel Lee. She is preceded in death by her mother Susan Smith, father John Smith Sr., and brother James Smith. Marissa's legacy of love, courage, and kindness lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
