John Doe, a beloved member of his community and a decorated military veteran passed away on January 24th, 2023. John was born on January 1st, 2000 and led a fulfilling life that touched countless lives. He retired from the United States Army with the rank of Colonel after serving with distinction for twenty years. During the Gulf War, he displayed exceptional bravery in combat and was awarded both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. John's service to his country was just one facet of an exceptional life.

John went on to earn a Master's degree in Business Administration from XYZ University where he received the Outstanding Academic Achievement award in 2010. He then joined XYZ Corporation as a Marketing Manager, where he worked for fifteen years, overseeing several successful product launches. His organizational skills, strategic mind, and creative outlook made him one of the company's most successful employees. His contributions to the company were recognized when he received the Marketing Achievement Award in 2015.

Beyond his professional achievements, John will be remembered for his kindness and welcoming nature. His sense of humor lit up any room he entered, making everyone feel at ease. Always family-oriented, John adored spending holidays with his loved ones and would excitedly make his famous apple pie every Thanksgiving. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting rare books and spent hours scouring bookstores and auctions for new additions to his collection.

John also had a heart for service and volunteered regularly at a local homeless shelter. It was no surprise when he received the Volunteer of the Year award for his efforts.

John's last moments were surrounded by kindness thanks to those who loved him most: wife Sara and son David by his side. John is survived by them in addition to family members such as mother Jenny and father James.

The services honoring John's memory will take place on April 13th, 2023 starting at Centerville Cemetery at 08:30 AM with a Mass and then later at The Sunrise Chapel in Ogden, Utah on May 15th from 08:45 to 10:45 AM for his viewing.

John's unwavering spirit and his dedication to his country and community inspired countless others. His passing is mourned by many, yet we are all fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a part of his life. Rest in peace, John, your legacy lives on.
